The Simpsons are now made of LEGO! This is a set I could definitely see myself buying.

I think it was about time for another update on my Simpsons Tapped out Town. I cannot believe how big it has gotten. I have been playing the game since summer of 2011.

Below you can see my olds posts and you can see how far my town has come. http://hamidspov.tumblr.com/post/23806966556 (When I first posted that the game did not have any updates, not every season they add new things.)

Here are my top picks for best albums in 2013. No real criteria just based on gut feeling. A lot of pop music, and not enough hip hop. Maybe next year.

  • Prism (Katy Perry)
  • Two Lanes of Freedom (Tim McGraw)
  • Beyoncé (Beyoncé)
  • The 20/20 Experience (Justin Timberlake)
  • ARTPOP (Lady Gaga)
  • Golden (Lady Antebellum)
  • Word of Mouth (The Wanted)
  • Ciara (Ciara)
  • Britney Jean (Britney Spears)
  • Midnight Memories (One Direction)

Tis the season for end of year lists… and now I present my 2013 top songs. (Determined by the number of plays on my iTunes.) It is not a perfect system, but here they are:

  1. All American Boy (Steve Grand)
  2. American Girl (Bonnie Mckee)
  3. Downtown (Lady Antebellum)
  4. Highway Don’t Care (Tim McGraw feat. Taylor Swift & Keith Urban)
  5. I’m Out (Ciara feat. Nicki Minaj)
  6. Kisses Down Low (Kelly Rowland)
  7. Blue Ocean Floor (Justin Timberlake)
  8. Work B**ch (Britney Spears)
  9. Come & Get It (Selena Gomez)
  10. Unconditionally (Katy Perry)

I am not proud of this list, but that’s the way it is. Some other noteable songs that just didn’t quite make the cut:

  • Generation Away (Lady Antebellum)
  • Birthday (Katy Perry)
  • International Smile (Katy Perry)
  • Blurred Lines (Robin Thick feat. T.I. & Pharrell)
  • Stay (Steve Grand)

disneyanimation:

Watch Olaf in the entire “In Summer” sequence from Frozen to help take your mind off the fact that today is the first day of winter.

If you haven’t already seen disney’s new animated feature, Frozen, you should definitely check it out. It’s great! This clip is when we meet Olaf - the most loveable snowman you’ll ever meet. (And you also find out that he has a dream… And what a dream it is.)

It’s been a lovely wintery weekend!

Lady Gaga’s newest album, ARTPOP, was released this month. The above photos represent her different eras: The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way & ARTPOP.

I thought this was a really interesting series of photos. She is an artist that is always fun to watch and see how she progresses. If you have not yet listened to ARTPOP I suggest you do.
